its easy to change our world - too often we look to foreign land like palestine and kashmir etc, but how often do we embrace our own neighbors in the township. dont get me wrong - i'm not saying that we shouldnt stand in solidarity with palestine or anything - i just feel our efforts can be focused more closely at home- how can you help- simple - feed the poor! thats it. too foten we get caught in these dawah recruitment exercises and islam becomes a head count , more than a qualitative individual experience, i'm not saying give people a plate of food and tie them to a seat while they watch a deedat video.
lots i can go on about - hit me with an e-mail . its mediajihad@gmail.com. you said that you didnt know that i write poetry- do we know each other?
